A number of cartridge printer suppliers are using shonky methods to make their cartridges appear cheaper than they are on the internet.
Especially on respectable sites like 'My Shopping ' and 'Get Price'.
To make their price appear the cheapest, and go to the top of the queue, they load the shipping cost to around $15 for say an advertised $18.90 toner cartridge. The shipping cost for them might be actually $7.00, so they cream $8.00 for the difference although they might lose say $2.00 on their acquisition cost for the cartridge, which costs them $20.90 to buy-in, to display it as the cheapest and be first entry on the queue.. so a very neat margin of 28.7% is achieved .
But it does'nt stop there. When it's in the cart & you have gone to the trouble of entering your details for delivery plus credit card, you then find an additional % charge passed on to you for the cost of the credit card transaction or the 2.5% fee which Paypal charges.
At ABC Printsupplies, you are only charged an extra $8 for delivery, for one or more cartridges.
